‘Night Walk at the Limepits’ Triptych 2021 Jude Hanly Oils on Canvas

I’m preparing for a New Solo Exhibition, at St Pauls Gallery, The Crossing Walsall. Most of my paintings are quite large and as this is a site specific space, so the artwork needs to be much smaller. I’m intending on using some of my working oil sketches and I do have a few pieces that are not quite so large, that could hang quite well in the space. Above is a painting based on my evening walks during covid, around a local nature reserve the Limepits, I loved walking here as the light dropped in the early summer months to watch the bats swooping down over the water.
